Plan for week of April 13, 2020

Dear Parents and Students,

I hope you all have a great Easter and are staying healthy.  Per Governor Noem on April 6, 2020, all South Dakota schools will remain closed for the 2019-20 school year. Timber Lake School District will continue to deliver education through our Flex Learning Plan and graduation will be postponed indefinitely.  We will communicate plans related to graduation as information becomes available.  The South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA) has cancelled all remaining SDHSAA events for 2019-20; including all spring activities and previously postponed winter events.

Below is important information for the week of April 13, 2020.

  2. The drive-up time for meal drop-off for April 15 will be from 12:00PM-1:00PM (MT).

  1. Timber Lake School District will continue to meet the learning needs of all students during this extended closure.
  1. Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  We request that students return all completed homework when they pick-up their lunch/breakfast.  If you have the capability, please take a picture of your homework and send to your teacher via email instead of physically turning it in.

  1. Students who receive Special Education Services will continue to be provided with services, accommodations and support.  Special Education teachers and service providers have been checking in with parents/students on a regular basis to ensure that their needs are being met. If you have alternative phone numbers, please write those on your homework packets before returning them.
