Two Positions Available for the Timber Lake Native American Education Committee
The Timber Lake School is asking eligible parents or guardians who are interested in partnering with the district to consider running for the vacant three-year term on the Native American Education Committee (NAEC).
The committee meets quarterly and works with the Timber Lake School District to assist in the planning and development of the Johnson-O’Malley (JOM) programs. The committee also advises the District on Title VI activities.
If interested in the open positions, you may pick up a petition at the school’s main office. The completed petition must be returned to the main office by 4:00 pm on October 1st , 2022.

Flu Shots, October 20, 2021
The Department of Health is offering flu vaccinations at the Timber Lake School on Wednesday, October 20th. A child’s private health insurance or Medicaid will be billed for the cost of the vaccination. Children without health insurance or Medicaid may receive the flu vaccine at the school through the Vaccines for Children program. The Vaccine Information Statement and consent form are included for your convenience. The consent form must be completed, signed, and returned to the school along with a copy of the child’s insurance or Medicaid card by Thursday, October 14th. Students without a completed consent form and a copy of the insurance or Medicaid card will not be vaccinated. Staff may be vaccinated if they provide a copy of their insurance or Medicaid card by October 14th or they may pay $46 for the vaccine. Face masks or coverings are encouraged for staff and students during PHASE 1.
Students and Staff are encouraged to bring their own Face Mask and Water Bottle.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Timber Lake School District has applied and been approved for a Seamless Summer Option (SSO) meal program through the Child and Adult Nutrition program. This allows us to feed all children, ages 0-18 free of charge. We will run this program October 5 – May 14, 2021 or until funding runs out at the state level. This program includes all children: students who are currently attending Timber Lake School, Virtual students and all other children age 0-18.
This program will provide your child with a free breakfast and lunch. For those not attending Timber Lake School, we will offer pickup at the school every day, Monday-Friday, from 1:00-1:15 pm. Pickup will be at door E4. (Door by playground) Ring the doorbell for service. The kitchen staff will give you your meals.
